The society is planning a PC build on Wednesday Week 7.
We are letting YOU decide what specs!
Have you built a PC in the past that you think is great or have you an idea for one?
Post it here and the best one gets made!
You can build one here and send the link to it as a post under this thread:

The budget is €2000 which does NOT include a graphics card (we have one that doesn't need replacing this year)
Deadline is next Monday 13th

Think this would be nice, under budget if we want to get some nicer peripherals (Razer OrbWeaver or Steam Controller would be cool):

Focusing on having a great processor and motherboard. Suitable for overclocking. Has 64GB of ram. Don't have much storage because it's not really needed. Should look pretty slick also. Still fairly under budget.

I recall being told "No AMD for the new PC" by someone, so I set out to make this as much of a meme as possible.
I would have also gone for an optical drive, but these fancy new cases don't even have anywhere to put them.
Enjoy..
I realise the RAM price isn't up there, but it's around another 350 quid judging by Amazon UK prices.

I was surprised it only said 900 quid at first, but apparently you forgot the CPU.CCollins wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2019 6:35 pmFocusing on having a great processor and motherboard. Maximum rbg. Windows is too expensive, so we are running Linux. Comes to around €1886.

Here's my kinda late submission.

Also, isn't the old graphics card a GTX1070? It'll look a bit silly in this otherwise overkill pc.
